1. Data Collection

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including your content drafts, voice memos, and account details needed for authentication and billing.

2. Use of Data

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Eloquence service. Your brand voice DNA and private dossiers are never shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your intellectual property. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

4. AI Processing

Your inputs are processed by our AI partners solely to generate your requested content. Their strict API data privacy policies apply.

5. Reader Measurement

Public pages on this site count views and read-throughs anonymously so that writers can see how their published work is received. No cookies are used, no IP address or device fingerprint is stored, and nothing identifies you across sites or sessions. These counts exist only as aggregates visible to the piece's author, and the underlying events are deleted within 90 days.

6. Connected Assistants

You can connect an AI assistant such as ChatGPT to your workspace. Nothing is shared until you approve it on Eloquence's own consent screen, where you choose whether it may read your work, also add to and change it, and spend your credits. It can never delete anything or publish. When the assistant uses Eloquence on your behalf, what it retrieves — for example the text of a note you asked about — is sent to that assistant's provider and handled under the provider's own terms. Its access token expires after an hour; disconnect the app in the assistant to end its access.

7. Who Processes Your Data

To run the service, your data is processed by Google Cloud and Firebase, which host Eloquence and store your account, notes and pieces; by Google's AI models — Gemini, which drafts your pieces, transcribes your voice notes and produces audio and images, and Veo, which produces video — when you ask for them, along with Google Cloud Speech-to-Text, which aligns the captions on videos; and by Stripe, which handles payment when you buy a plan or credits. If you connect LinkedIn, what you choose to publish there is sent to LinkedIn. Connected assistants are covered in section 6.

8. How Long It Is Kept

Your notes, pieces and settings are kept for as long as your account is open. To have your account and its content deleted, write to us at the address in section 9. Records of an approved assistant connection are deleted automatically once they expire, usually within a day.
